Lacoste Stealth Cassel in Black, Purple and Yellow
I do not normally consider Lacoste a sneaker brand but there are some new ones coming out that are extremely cool and very sneaker like. These Lacoste Stealth Cassel look like a Reebok or a Nike Air Jordan – they are high, thick and very good for sneaking.
One criticism I have of these shoes is that the simplicity has gone too far. I am normally an advocate of a simple shoe but these ones seem a little too plain. Perhaps it is because there is no texture on the toe or sides or perhaps it is because the two colour scheme is only used in two places. Sometimes it is better if the two colours are in different places around the shoe.
This is a very different direction for Lacoste and I applaud them for their brave move. I like them a lot.
